ECOTOPIA: ECOLOGY/ACTION
All-Russian festival-laboratory on the theme of ecology and environmental friendliness by means of theatrical art

The idea of the Festival is to create a field for reflection on the theme of ecology by means
of stage art – theater, dance and performance – on the theme of ecology with different
optics and with different "photo-enhancement": from everyday ecological habits, animal
rights, local environmental problems to global phenomena
The Festival program includes:
- immersive performance "Eco to go" directed by M. Sapizhak; puppet show "Tyautil and Meautil" directed by A. Lepinskaya; dance performance "Black Sky" directed by A. Narutto; ecological fairy tale "The Bag That Wanted to Be Needed" directed by P. Chizhov
- Six work-in-progress performances created during the laboratory for young directors
- Installations and performances by contemporary artists

SP|CP: A STAGE READING OF CONTEMPORARY PROSE
A series of performances based on the actual prose of modern Russian authors
SP|CP - is a synthesis of sharp modern text, laconic theatrical
form and music. The performances of the project are played in theater and club spaces in
St. Petersburg and Moscow since August 2021 till current time.
To implement the project was created the theater association KUL - a team of independent artists from St. Petersburg
The repertoire of the project:
• Performance based on the novel by A. Astvatsaturov "Do not feed or touch the pelicans"
• Black comedy performance based on M. Elizarov's story "MASHA"
• Performance "Poor girl" based on Yu. Belomlinskaya's novel "Poor girl or Apple, chicken,
Pushkin"

RUSSIAN READINGS AT THE NABOKOV MUSEUM
A chamber literary festival, which includes open discussions with modern Russian writers living outside the Russian Federation but writing in Russian - with series of theatrical
readings based on their works

- The laureates, finalists and representatives of the juries of the national literary prizes were talking about the phenomenon of Russian émigré literature, how the literary process works today in different countries, and what it means to be a Russian writer outside of Russia
- In addition to discussions, the project presented theatrical readings of the works of the participants, prepared by directors and actors of famous theatres
- All the events were live-broadcasted

Fedra
A performance based on Jean Racine's play “Phaedra”
2018
The play is based on the ancient myth of Phaedra, the wife of King Theseus of Athens,
who developed a passion for her stepson Hippolyta. Theseus disappeared six months ago,
the news of his death arrives and Phaedra dares to make a sinful confession.
The ritualistic aesthetic of the play reflects the energy and tension of feelings that
transcend the human dimension
